It’s not often that a photographer gets to post the bridal portraits before the day of the wedding. This makes me happy! Matt, Julia’s Fiance, actually helped her pick out her dress, so there’s no need to hide these pictures from him. How cool is that? I think it’s nice to break tradition every once in a while. We spent the afternoon at Villa Antonia and were very fortunate to have great light. What really made the session really special, though, was Julia and her immensely beautiful dress! Julia is so radiant and fun that working with her doesn’t actually feel like work. She makes it way too easy! Here are some of my favorites from the day. Howdy Y’all! Shot a bridal session couple weeks ago with Christina at the LOVELY Villa Antonia. What a beautiful venue this is! Out in the middle of nowhere. Surrounded by the lush hill country. Let me start by saying thank you to Ed Lehman, a colleague of mine, for coming out to assist me with this shoot! And it should also be known that Christina was such a trooper that day! It ain’t easy trudging up and down stairs of a hilly venue in a wedding dress in 90 degree weather. But, she did it, with no problem or complaints and a constant smile on her face. I’ll be shooting her and Kyle’s wedding on June 21st, so keep an eye out for those pictures! Here are two of my personal favorites from the day.
