Liz + Shane :: Engaged | Austin Wedding Photographer

You all may recall a sneak peek of theirs that I posted about two weeks ago.  You may also recall me having mentioned something about their really cool proposal story.  It’s just as cool and unique as Shane and Liz themselves.   Shane, who has a penchant for all things funny, art and comic books is, by trade, an animator who specializes in character design.  So, he set out to make a proposal video for his main squeeze….in total secrecy! This is not an easy task, folks!  But its apparent that Shane doesn’t like to do things the easy way.  With the proposal video completed,  there had to be a way of presenting it to Liz that was just as unique and cool as the idea and content of the video itself.  This is where the famous Alamo Draft House becomes involved. It was date night and Shane and the unsuspecting Liz were at the movie house preparing to watch Monsters Inc. when the movie previews start to roll. I think you can guess what happened next…

It’s ideas like this one and people like Shane that make us men realize that we have to raise the bar when popping the big question. I think this is one of the most awesome ways that you can let someone know that you want to spend the rest of your lives together….by doing something that is totally indicative of your personalities. Big huge applause for Shane. Congrats, you two!

Thank you for stopping by.
