Andrea + Scott :: Sneak Peek | Austin Engagement Photographer

Andrea + Scott :: Sneak Peek | Austin Engagement Photographer

I’m really excited that we finally got to shoot Andrea and Scott’s engagement session the other day.  We have had to reschedule it THREE times.  Once because of Mother’s Day and twice because of the rain.  We hit up various locations in Georgetown, including the restaurant/diner where they had their first date – Monument Cafe. Then we went to the park…one of the biggest parks I have ever seen! There were five different parks within the park itself, if that even makes sense. I’ll definitely be back to take advantage of the rest of the park. We ended the night in the quaint Georgetown town square. Andrea and Scott were REALLY easy and fun to work with. Andrea is a bit of a photography enthusiast herself, so she could sorta relate to what I was doing. Anyhow…here is a sneak peek for Y’all. Enjoy!

I love my job!  Even if it means having to brave 100 degree weather.  I was a little worried about having to work outdoors in the heat, but once I got into the zone, I never gave it a second thought. Totally worth it. Especially when you have a wedding at the gorgeous Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. And especially when your caterer is The Salt Lick! Here are a few of my favorite images so far. Thanks to Mollie for coming out to 2nd shoot this one with me. Enjoy!

It was one of the hottest days of the year so far….

Luckily, Jenny and Rob held their UBER fun wedding at the very-well-shaded Vista on Seward Hill, so it didn’t feel all that bad. In fact, it was hotter on the dance floor than it was outside, but that’s because these two and their attendees know how to heat things up. They even had their own personal cigar roller – how freaking cool is that?! Here’s a few snaps from the day that caught my eye. Stay tuned for a full post later on! Thanks again to Mr. Eric for his excellent assistance with this shoot. Congrats to Jenny and Rob!

Stunning Bride, don’t you think?

The Teacher and the Fireman.  That statement alone speaks volumes as to the kind of people Mayra and Andy are.  Giving. Caring. Compassionate. Positive. Strong.  And it’s these essential qualities that provide the foundation for their relationship with each other.  When you look at them, you just know that they were meant to be together.   Mayra and Andy were my  very first wedding clients to ever book me nearly two years ago!  I didn’t have that much experience under my belt….just the few gigs I shot as an assistant with other various wedding pros.  I guess you can say that they saw potential in me and took a leap of faith.  I’ve been anticipation their special day ever since, because in the back of my mind, I knew that the risk they took would eventually pay off.  I am so honored to have been able to capture the most wonderful day of their lives.  Here’s a sneak peek of their big day.  Thanks to Eric for coming out to shoot this with me. Enjoy!

What an awesome couple!  I really dig photographing people who are obviously in love and are as happy as Tiffany and Brian are.  Sure, they were a little nervous at first, but it didn’t take long for them to loosen up and be themselves.  Brain is a co-owner of several successful bars in town, including Mug Shots and Pourhouse Pub, and Tiffany is an undercover double agent highly trained in foreign espionage and intelligence.  Okay, so that last part is 100% not true, but it sounded really good in my head as I was typing this out.  Regardless of what they do, what’s important is that these two click and it’s really apparent that they are quite the match. At first we had plans to shoot at the Zilker Botanical Gardens but a good friend of theirs did the right thing and spoke out against that idea.  It’s totally not them.  They be city folk. Urbanites. So instead, we started off at Mug Shots, where they first met, and hopped in and around the downtown area. Good times were had by all and I truly can’t wait for their big day in February! Here’s a sneak peek for you all….enjoy!
