Man, I have had such a wonderful time working with these two. It all started back this past Spring when I met Sarah and Doug for their engagement session. They wanted to shoot on Doug’s family ranch in Mason, TX, but it would most likely have been impossible for me to find, even with the wonderful capabilities of GPS! So, we met for a beer first in Llano and then all rode together to the ranch. If you really want to get to know your clients, I highly suggest spending an entire day, including two hours in the car, with them! There’s no better way, really. After that day I knew just how fortunate I was to get to work with Sarah and Doug on their wedding day. Here are some of my favorite images from that day at the Stonehouse Villa in Driftwood, TX.
Different strokes for different folks! That is exactly what Emily and John’s celebration was – different. The kind of different that incorporates the celebration of the dead, while also celebrating a new beginning. The kind of different that has all the attendees doubled over from laughter as three of their dear friends hysterically officiate the ceremony dressed as the Three Amigos. I don’t know about you, but I for one, embrace this kind of different! I’d love to share some of my favorites with Y’all from that incredibly fun and entertaining day at the Jester King Brewery.
