They say the right side of the brain is dominant for visual imagery and music, while the left side of the brain dominates in math and logical abilities. That couldn’t be any more evident than it is with Alexis and Steven. By day, Alexis is a highly trained Violinist, sharing her knowledge and skill through teaching others how to play. She even performs at the occasional wedding gig! Steven is a calculated and precise Engineer who’s working towards building a bigger and better world. Opposites really do attract, and these two are no exception. You can see it in the glow in their eyes, their gestures and affection towards each other. LOVE. Pure LOVE. The kind of love that you can’t fake. The kind of love that just needs to be shared and expressed. It’s such a wonderful sight to see. They exchanged vows at an intimate antique chapel, Decker United Methodist Church and celebrated their unity at one of the most beautiful venues in town – Barr Mansion. These two are REALLY good dancers. They danced during our engagement session and they lit up the dance floor at their wedding this past weekend. They tied the knot at cute and kitschy Decker United Methodist and held the reception at the oh-so-nice Barr Mansion, which recently sustained the tragic loss of their ballroom to a fire caused by lightning. Very, very sad. When I heard of the news that morning, I immediately called Alexis to see how she and Steven were doing and if there was anything I could do to help. Surprisingly, Alexis was very calm and laid back and had total confidence that the venue would find a suitable solution. And they did – one of the best outdoor wedding tents in town, which had a monster A/C system to boot! T’was a very lovely day and I am SO happy that Eric and I were able to be a part of it. I am also very grateful to my past clients, Renee and Andrew, for referring Alexis and Steven to me. Have a look at some sneak peeks from their special day!

You have no idea how much concentration, coordination and skill it takes for thirteen people to be able to pull this off!

Tis the season for beautiful wildflowers. If you got ‘em….use ‘em! Had another awesome engagement session with yet another beautiful couple. Honestly, though, these two did most of the work for me. I just pressed buttons and stuff and out came great pictures! I love my job. I REALLY do. It was great to work with them and I really can’t wait till their wedding…it’s gonna be a beauty! I’d like to thank Eric Kotara for coming out to assist me on this shoot.
