As you may recall, I posted the image above as a teaser from a Wedding I second shot with Caroline Roberts of Sweet Caroline Photography. Mid afternoon. 100+ degree weather. Dresses and tuxedos. A bunch of really cool cats and an AWESOME Bride & Groom. The ceremony took place at the lovely Umlauf Sculpture Gardens just outside Zilker Park. If you haven’t been there yet, I highly suggest you go! Take note that beside the groom in the image above, there is a young lady in a black dress. That’s right! Instead of having a traditional “Best Man”, Derek broke the rules and had a Best Woman. To reinforce her title of “best”, she was responsible for making the Bride’s dress as well as all the Bridesmaid’s dresses with her own two hands. Amazing, huh?! The whole day unfolded so smoothly thanks to the wonderfully awesome job by the three coordinators over at Something To Celebrate! The simple, yet elegant flowerss came from The Enchanted Florist, a spectacular family owned floral boutique. And the super cool cakes came from the masterful cake makers known as Coco Paloma Desserts – wait till you get to the cake pictures. The Groom’s cake is by far the most creative cheesecake I have ever laid my eyes on. But, enough rambling, let’s get to the pictures! Thanks for stopping by…..feel free to leave any comments.
